About AgriPower, Inc.
AgriPower manufactures, markets and services modular, mobile and transportable, Waste-to-Energy (“WtE”), Combined Heat and Power (“CHP”) Systems that use Biomass and plastic waste materials as fuel to generate from 250kW to 750kW of electricity and Thermal Energy suitable for Co-Generation applications such as heating and air conditioning buildings, for producing hot water, for refrigeration, for drying various materials and other applications in an environmentally friendly manner.
The Systems provide a reliable on-site source of low cost electricity and co-generation at a significant financial savings of approximately $10 to $15 million, relative to a similarly-sized diesel generator, over their 20 year useful lives. The Systems use readily available, recurring customer waste thereby providing additional economies from avoided disposal fees and taxes as well as carbon and tax credits and grants. The Systems have a typical payback period of about 3 years.
The unique modular and mobile design enables the System to be easily transported to the fuel source, whether to the customer’s premises, remote, off-grid locations or disaster sites. The System can be fully operational in only 1 to 2 days.
Production of our initial 375kW System is now underway and it is expected to be fully operational and available for demonstrations starting in November, 2011.
Our proprietary technology has applications across multiple industries including municipal waste companies, supermarket chains, “Big Box” stores, paper and pulp companies, farmers, ranchers, lumber mills, energy and utility companies, etc.
The Company has no current direct competition in the mobile, 250kW to 750kW space and first mover advantage in the mobile power sector. Our Systems use a unique and superior “ultra high temperature” and “clean air” technology and can be easily and safely operated by unskilled and inexpensive labor. Our products capitalize on and benefit from rising fuel and disposal prices, growing environmental awareness and emerging cap and trade incentives.
